Shrewsbury Makes Annual 'Best Communities in Massachusetts' List
GoLocalWorcester named Shrewsbury among the best 100 places to live in the state.
GoLocalWorcester this week announced its third annual Best Communities in Massachusetts List. The list, said GoLocal, was devised by mixing stats of affordability, economic condition, education, arts and culture, and safety.
Boston came in first in this year's list.
Shrewsbury came in at number 51 on the list. "Once home to Spag’s, a discount store owned by local businessman Anthony Borgatti, Shrewsbury is now a thriving community with a blend of residential and commercial development," wrote GoLocalWorcester.

According to GoLocal's statistics, Shrewsbury has a median household income of $88,985 and the median housing price is $372,500.
