Watch SPLAT TV

The ever active SPLAT is now on TV. Watch it.

For some time, SPLAT has wanted to have a talk show for teens on local cable.

What's SPLAT, you ask? SPLAT is the Shrewsbury Public Library Advisory Team, which is a group kids in grades 5-12 that help plan events, choose materials, and do community service both in the library and the community. Currently, according to coordinator Dan Barbour, SPLAT has more than 75 active members, and over 600 people on the mailing list.

And now, it has a show.

"A great cast of SPLAT members and volunteers showed up to join me on a panel to talk about all things related to the young adult section of the library," said Barbour. "I encourage all of you to take 22 minutes out of your day and watch the show, and then take another five minutes to spread the word - tell your friends, family, everyone! I also want to send a giant thank you out to Liz Poplawski at the local Shrewsbury cable station who shot and edited the show. Our teens here are great, and she made them look even better."
