Snow, Sleet and Freezing Rain for Tonight

The National Weather Service is predicting some slippery conditions for tonight.

With snow and sleet transitioning to freezing rain by 10 p.m., things are bound to get slick out in Shrewsbury. The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook and Winter Weather Advisory for much of New England. In Shrewsbury, the forecast details of up to two inches of snow starting after 2 p.m., with precipitation transitioning over to snow, freezing drizzle and sleet before 1 a.m. The NWS calls for freezing rain in Shrewsbury between 1-3 a.m., then areas of freezing rain and sleet after 3 a.m. There will also be some instances of patchy fog.
