Man Arrested for Exposing Himself to Motel 6 Guest

Northborough police arrested a man in Shrewsbury on charges of open and gross lewdness.

Northborough police arrested a man at a home in Shrewsbury on Tuesday for an incident at Motel 6, where two days earlier the man allegedly exposed himself to a woman and her daughters, who were staying at the motel. Jeffrey H. Flannery, 55, 39 Reseroir St., Norton, was arrested at a Shrewsbury home at which he was staying, on charges of open and gross lewdness. Officer Phillip Martin says he responded to a call from an employee at Motel 6 on May 13, who relayed a disturbance that had occurred earlier in the day. Flannery, according to employees, had been dropped off at the motel on May 12. On May 13, a report had come in around 2 a.m. of a man who was "banging on the door and using foul language." Fight Between Roommates Leads to an Arrest

A man has been arrested with A&B with a dangerous weapon and other charges after an argument between roommates.

A man faces multiple charges, including A&B with a dangerous weapon, after he allegedly sped off from an argument, striking the victim with his car, damaging a lawn and driving drunk, said police. Jorge Antonio Rodriques, 53, who lists his address as 259 Southwest Cutoff Rd. in Worcester, was arrested and charged with A&B with a dangerous weapon (a car), destruction of property more than $250, malicious unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and OUI (liquor). On Tuesday, Feb. 26, Shrewsbury police responded at 9:50 p.m. to 12 Pleasant St. where an argument between roommates had escalated. Shrewsbury Man Gets Jailtime for Home Invasion

After pleading guilty to home invasion, a man whose last known address was in Shrewsbury will serve time.

A man whose last address was listed in Shrewsbury will get jailtime after pleading guilty to two counts of armed assault with intent to rob and home invasion, according to court records posted by the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. Judge Janet Kenton-Walker in Worcester Superior Court sentenced Marhefka to three concurrent terms of three years to three years and a day to be served in Walpole state prison. He was also given two- to two-and-a-half years for larceny after pleading guilty, reported the Telegram. Marhefka will also serve five years of probation with conditions upon release.

Shrewsbury Bus Driver Pleads Not Guilty to Vehicular Homicide

A crash that killed a pedestrian in September sent a Shrewsbury bus driver to court on serious charges.

A Shrewsbury man who formerly drove a bus for the Worcester Regional Transit Authority was arraigned last week in Central District Court, said the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. Edward R. Rossi Jr., 70, 25 Orchard Meadow Drive, Shrewsbury, has been charged with vehicular homicide by negligent driving, failure to use care while turning and driving as to endanger in connection with a crash that killed Linda Sneed, 62. The incident occurred on a rainy night on Sept 28 on Sagamore Road, where Sneed was walking. Non-guilty pleas were entered for Rossi.
