Teen Charged With Possession of Drugs, Dangerous Weapon

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, May 11 12:25 a.m.: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on Clinton Street. Kyle Stark, 17, of 6 Kirk St. was arrested and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon and possession of a class B substance. 1:01 a.m.: A 911 caller from Fieldstone Drive asked for police assistance after a burglar alarm at their house was activated. 7:49 a.m.: A caller from Hartford Turnpike reported a dryer fire that had possibly extended to the walls. The Shrewsbury Fire Department was able to respond in time to contain the fire to the dryer. 10:34 a.m.: A caller from St. Anne’s reported a person using counterfeit $20 bills. Tuesday, May 7 7:15 a.m.: A caller from Kirk Street reported vandalism to their motor vehicle. 10:00 a.m.: An officer responded to a 911 misdial from South Quinsigamond. The caller was attempting to dial out of the country. 2:04 p.m.: The Animal Control Officer assisted with returning a dog that was found on Boston Turnpike to the dog’s owner. 5:46 p.m.: A caller reported that their car was vandalized on Main Street. 6:47 p.m.: A caller reported a male indecently exposing himself at the White City Shopping Center. Sunday, May 5 12:53 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Boston Turnpike and arrested Leonardo Dasilveira, 20, of 2 Cedar Pl., Framingham. Dasilveira was charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, unlicensed operation and racing a motor vehicle. 2:36 p.m.: An officer assisted the Shrewsbury Fire Department with a fire at Shrewsbury Crossing. 3:05 p.m.: Dale Flanders, 57, of 29 Smith Rd. was arrested on a warrant charge. 3:22 p.m.: The fire department responded to a mulch fire in the area of Christmas Tree Shops. 7:07 p.m.: An officer took a report of an earlier theft at CVS. 7:16 p.m.: An ATV was towed after several callers reported the driver causing a disturbance on Worthington Avenue.
