Shrewsbury Businessman Shaves Head for Boston Marathon
A local man is getting a "buzz cut" before running the Boston Marathon.
Submitted by Fern Nissim, certified marketing consultant Marc Theroux, father of three daughters and husband of a local Grafton dentist Tina Theroux, plans to get a “Buzz Cut” before running in the Boston Marathon on April 15. If Marc reaches his fundraising goal of $9,200 by April 6, 2013, he will buzz cut his long dark hair. The hair cut symbolizes his solidarity with those suffering with hair loss when undergoing cancer treatments. The top four contributors to Marc’s goal will have the opportunity to actually perform the “Buzz Cut.” Every donor will have their name printed on the back of Marc’s Dana Farber team running shirt which he will wear when he runs.
