Teen 'Big Read' Readers Needed
Be a part of a reading of "Tom Sawyer."
Information courtesy of the Shrewsbury Public Library Would you like to help bring a great work of American literature to life, by being a “Big Read Reader” in Shrewsbury’s third community reading project called The Big Read? With a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Public Library, Parks and Recreation Department, Council on Aging, Shrewsbury Media Connection (SMC) and the Schools are planning a community-wide reading project focusing on Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Starting in April 2013, there will be a wide range of fun and informative activities for children, teens and adults, all to remind people how great a great story can be!
