Monday Essentials: Music in Motion; Board, Trails Committee Meetings; Munchkin Yoga

1. The Board of Selectmen meet on Tuesday, Sept. 10, and the Trails Committee and Historic District Committee also have meetings coming up during the week. Be a part of your town. These meetings are all open to the public, and can be found here. 

2. Wendy brings Music in Motion back to the Shrewsbury Public Library on Monday, Sept. 9. This enrichment program includes singing, dancing, instruments ... oh...and a parachute. Space is limited, so registration is necessary. It's for kids ages 2-5 accompanied by an adult. 

3. Munchkin Yoga has started at the Shrewsbury Health and Racquet Club. On Fridays, "Let your young yogis get more flexible, become more centered and focused, be more aware of their body and learn basic relaxation techniques."

4. On Wednesday, Sept. 11, there's a "Baby and Me" storytime designed for children who are "not quite walking yet." 

5. The First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury's annual picnic is coming up on Sept. 15. Have you signed up?
