3. The Board of Selectmen meet on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The public, as always, is invited to these meetings. 

4. Catch the spirit! The Spirit of Shrewsbury annual fall festival is coming up this weekend. From scarecrows on the common to craft fairs to vendors to the 5K race, it is the event of the season for the town.
