Patrick Daniel Lyons became the 110th scout in Shrewsbury's Boy Scout Troop to achieve Eagle Scout. The 18-year-old was formally recognized for his achievement recently in a ceremony at First Congregational Church, reported the Community Advocate.
Lyons joined the scouts in 2000, and has been a member of Troop 114 since 2005, and since has been an assistant patrol leader and patrol leader. He helped to revitalize a recreation area at the Shrewsbury Senior Center for his service project.
