Help Keep Residents Warm

Donate to help families stay warm this summer.

This winter, residents can donate to the Shrewsbury Oil Assistance Relief (SOAR) program and help families stay warm.

The organization was founded in 2008 to provide emergency oil deliveries to residents who have run out of oil and need help until more permanent assistance can be provided.

The group provides a 75-gallon emergency oil delivery while (SYFS) or the South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC) secure permanent aid.

When people lose heat it leads to burst pipes and mold, illness and relocation to often family unfriendly locations. SOAR exists solely to provide temporary emergency aid to allow people to stay in their homes, while their situation is addressed.

To date SOAF has helped over 100 families in Shrewsbury. To donate, send checks to 240 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA 01545 or email ohn@masielloconst.com.
