Should Shrewsbury Build a Town Pool?

This heat wave means people need to cool off somewhere, are the nearby lakes enough?

With temperatures reaching 90 degrees for the past few weeks, Shrewsbury residents are turning anywhere they can to cool off after a hot summer day.

But are there enough opportunities in town, or would you welcome a town pool?

Many residents have been visiting Sunset Beach on Lake Quinsigamond, and other swimming spots on the lake to cool off, but not everyone enjoys lake water.
