St. John's Expands Sports Fields

Construction crews have been working at Pioneer Field, located on Main Street almost directly across from St. John's High School. 

According to Town Planner Kristin Las, St. John's High School is updating its sports complex by replacing the baseball field, improving drainage and building grandstands and bathroom facilities. 

The project is one that is long overdue, as the Community Advocate reports, indicating that the last time money was invested in Pioneer Field was 1982.
