Shrewsbury Resident Named to New England Revolution

Kelsey Kneeland was named to the Rev Girls cheer squad for the New England Revolution.

The New England Revolution had a final audition to fill open spots on the Rev Girls cheer squad, and local Shrewsbury resident, Kelsey Kneeland, made the final cut. She was awarded a spot on the team as a new 2012 Rev Girl, and will be cheering on the Revolution this season. This was a competitive competition where 17 girls tried out for just eight open spots.  The Rev Girls perform various roles at events including providing assistance with fundraising efforts, added value and presence for promotional events, and an outgoing dimension of soccer and sports knowledge.

The Rev Girls are gearing up for the next home game on April 14 against D.C. United.
