Fundraiser Benefits Andy's Attic

The event at the high school featured food, music and more.

A fundraiser was held last night at to benefit Andy's Attic, the nonprofit organization founded in memory of Andy Reese who died in an automobile accident in December 2010. Andy would have been a member of the senior class.

Andy's Attic was founded by Andy's parents, Lisa and Daryl Reese, and provides new and gently used clothing to needy teenagers in Shrewsbury and surrounding communities.

The event included an ice cream sundae bar, coffee and pastries, a raffle, and musical performances from Shrewsbury High School students. According to Shrewsbury High School senior Jaimie Kender, proceeds will help pay for clothing items, rent and equipment such as racks.
