Vote Yes for a Debt Exclusion!

The opponents are again up to their deceptive tactics in spreading false information on their lawn signs. Their last tactic is "Vote No for a Tax Increase" is misleading and simply not true.

What the opponents don't understand is that a "No Vote" will hurt the schools and the other departments as the town will need to use their own funds to repair the library. Furthermore, a "No Vote" will produce an even smaller library as the standards for the ADA(Americans with Disabilities Act) will need to be met.  Also, potential cuts to the School Department and to town services will adversely affect the residents of Shrewsbury.

"Living Within Your Means" is only true when the quality of life in not diminished but preserved and improved according to the feasibility of being economically responsible and having good common sense.

" A No Vote" is not feasible and not an economic benefit to the town. The quality of life for Shrewsbury Residents to receive quality town services; quality education for their children; and a new cost-effective library will be impacted by a "No Vote."   Property values may go down as people will not want to buy homes where the schools are overcrowded; underfunded; and the rating of academic performance by the state is deficient.

"A Yes Vote" is a vote for a sound new library to benefit all residents.
