Shrewsbury Sees Increase in Home Sales from Last Year
The latest numbers from the Warren Group indicate that Shrewsbury's real estate market is on the uptick.
The Shrewsbury real estate market continues to see an uptick, according to recent numbers.
Shrewsbury had 209 home sales through July 2013, compared to 173 over the first seven months of 2012, according to the Warren Group.
There were 45 home sales in July, 2013, up from 32 in July, 2012.
The July 2013 median sale price of $400, 000 was up more than 32 percent from July 2012, when that figure was $302,500.
The 2013 year-to-date median sale of $374,000 was up nearly 19 percent from the same period in 2012, when that figure was $315,000.
