Veterans Inc.'s Shrewsbury Facility Expanding to 45 Beds

The shelter will soon be able to provide beds for up to 45 homeless veterans.

Two-dozen more homeless veterans in Massachusetts will find that they now have a place to sleep at night thanks to the expansion of Veterans Inc.'s Independence Hall on South Street.
According to the Boston Globe, the $3.3 million expansion is possible thanks to a state grant.
Executive Director of Veterans Inc. Denis Leary told the Globe that the project will help improve the quality of the facility, make the existing space more accessible for people with disabilities and expand the facility from 23 to 45 beds.
