A Shrewsbury man did not show up to court to explain why he hadn't paid.
U.S. Marshals brought a Shrewsbury man to jail for failing to show up to court to explain why he didn't pay $6,777 in legal fees to a Shrewsbury couple, the Worcester Telegram and Gazette reported.
Ara Eresian Jr., 58, is "known for filing copious legal briefs and appeals in real estate lawsuits, but not paying court judgments against him."
