Shrewsbury Bus Driver Pleads Not Guilty to Vehicular Homicide

A crash that killed a pedestrian in September sent a Shrewsbury bus driver to court on serious charges.

A Shrewsbury man who formerly drove a bus for the Worcester Regional Transit Authority was arraigned last week in Central District Court, said the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.

Edward R. Rossi Jr., 70, 25 Orchard Meadow Drive, Shrewsbury, has been charged with vehicular homicide by negligent driving, failure to use care while turning and driving as to endanger in connection with a crash that killed Linda Sneed, 62.

The incident occurred on a rainy night on Sept 28 on Sagamore Road, where Sneed was walking. Non-guilty pleas were entered for Rossi.
