Retired MA Corrections Officer Exploring Run for Congress

Dan Dubrule forms exploratory committee for second congressional district run.

By Liz Taurasi

Leominster resident and retired Massachusetts Corrections officer Dan Dubrule announced Tuesday he has formed an exploratory campaign committee for a run for Congress in the second congressional district.

“America is at a crossroad right now,” Dubrule said in a statement. “Our so-called leaders in Washington continue to forget who they truly represent. They think it’s the guys with the big checks. I’m running to say it isn’t. Average Americans who can only afford to vote and not give a big check have been suffering from the destructive policies and politics of Washington.”

In the upcoming weeks, Dubrule says he looks forward to meeting citizens across the district and listening to their concerns about issues important to them.

The second congressional district includes towns in several counties, including Westborough, Northborough and Shrewsbury in Worcester County.
