New Shrewsbury Advocates Hold First Meeting

The town manager and superintendent joined the newly formed Shrewsbury Advocates for their first meeting.

After concerns over town and school finances, a new group, Shrewsbury Advocates, formed last year and held their first official forum this week, as The Daily Shrewsbury reported.

The meeting was held on Wednesday night at the Shrewsbury Public Library, where Town Manager Daniel Morgado and Superintendent of Schools Joseph Sawyer joined them.

Approximately 100 attended, and the meeting addressed population growth, state aid, tax increases and school budgets.
