Gov. Deval Patrick visited the College of the Holy Cross this weekend to honor ambassadors to Project 351.

Students from around the state, including two from Shrewsbury, reunited for a conference at the college over the weekend. The two students are: Jaehyun (Jae) Lee and Megan Downing.

"Project 351 is designed to inspire, challenge and motivate our next generation of leaders to give back and make a significant impact in the community," said Patrick. "I am proud of the ambassadors' dedication to service and I welcome the opportunity to check back in with them on their enduring work."

The youth ambassadors, representing 351 cities and towns, served with Patrick in January 2011 and 2012 respectively at the launch of their year of service. This mid-year check-in at Holy Cross will be a day of service learning and leadership training including a town hall meeting with Patrick.
