Committee Hosts Public Hearing on Proposed Library Plans

It's your chance to be heard. 

The Shrewsbury Library Building Committee is holding a public hearing on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. at the Shrewsbury Town Hall, 100 Maple Ave., to receive commentary on the proposed renovation of expansion plans for the Shrewsbury Public Library.

According to a town press release, architects Lamoureux and Pagano, Inc, have been working with the committee to develop a reduced and modified plan for the library building. This hearing begins with a brief overview of the proposal by the architects, followed by comments from the public.

Most recent renderings and floor plans can be found on the town website.

Residents can also watch this meeting on local cable station SGTV channel 30 and will be made available on the Shrewsbury Media Connection website.
