Camp Counselors and More Town Jobs Open in Shrewsbury

With unemployment and the price of gas high, residents are looking for jobs in town. The Town of Shrewsbury website his listings for several jobs including many at the schools.

ABA Technicians: Prefer candidates with experience in discrete trial training, modifying grade level curriculum, and behavioral supports.  The candidate will work collaboratively with numerous service providers, including speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. Six-week summer program included. Pay range: ($17.03-$20.38).  Full benefits. Classroom Instructional Aides: Positions available at various levels including preschool, elementary, high school. Full time and part-time. Resumes accepted immediately and until all positions are filled.

Substitute Teachers: All grade levels - We will consider applicants who wish to work on a daily basis as well as individuals who may only be available 1-2 days per week. College degree required. Retirees welcome. Training will be provided. Compensation $65 per day. All levels, all subjects needed immediately. Application available on our web site or in our central office, 100 Maple Avenue.

Kitchen Aides: Full time and part time positions available with flexible hours. Substitute kitchen aides also needed to work on an on-call basis.  Send resume or apply in person at Central Office, 100 Maple Avenue.

Summer Counselor: Must be at least 16-years-old by May 1. Previous experience, CPR and first aid experience are preferred. Counselors will work from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday for seven weeks beginning June 24. Pay starts at $8.00/hour. Applications must be submitted by April 26.
