Thrown Eggs, Dog Bite Among Recent Shrewsbury Police Calls

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Monday, Sept. 30

7:30 a.m.: A black suitcase was reported on the walkway in front of 22 Keyes House Rd. Police responded; the suitcase was empty.

12:17 p.m.: A person went to the Police Department to report larceny by a former employee at 545 Hartford Tpke. Police took a report.

1:35 p.m.: A caller reported eggs were thrown at a home on Blackthorn Road.

3:53 p.m.: A caller from South Quinsigamond reported a missing small white dog. Animal Control located the dog and returned it to its owner.

5:40 p.m.: A caller said there was a dog bite on Fairlawn Circle. The caller refused medical attention. Animal Control was notified.

5:53 p.m.: A black indoor cat with white paws was reported lost from a home on Old Farm Circle. Police made a log entry.

7:15 p.m.: Screaming was reported at a Hill Street home. Police responded and discovered people were having a verbal argument. They were spoken to.
