Three Arrested After Shrewsbury Commons Car Break-Ins

The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department.

Wednesday, July 24

12:14 a.m.: An officer spoke to three suspicious people on Maple Avenue.

12:26 a.m.: Officers arrested three people that were allegedly caught breaking into cars at the Shrewsbury Commons Apartments. Zachary N. Forsberg, 22, of 16 B Chruch St., Grafton,Kristal Lee Gianette Condie, 19, of 16 B Chruch St., Grafton and Russel Joseph Laporte, 19, of 1271 Millbury St., Worcester were all arrested. They were charged each charged with larceny over $250 and three counts of felony breaking and entering into a vehicle at night.

8:51 a.m.: Two cars involved in a crash on Hartford Turnpike were towed. No injuries were reported.

2:47 p.m.: A caller from Lake Street reported a break in that occurred earlier in the day.

7:28 p.m.: Officers responded with the Shrewsbury Fire Department to a kitchen fire on Boston Drive.

Thursday, July 25

4:40 a.m.: An officer took reports of vandalism on Edgewood Drive.

2:04 p.m.: A caller from Nelson Point Road reported an attempted break-in.

3:31 p.m.: A caller from Julio Drive reported a larceny of copper from his motor vehicle.

Friday, July 26

1:32 a.m.: A caller from Wachusett Avenue reported a drunk female outside of her home. Police transported the woman in question home.

11:42 a.m.: An officer arrested Richard Capra, 68, of (addressed removed) on warrant charges resulting from a traffic stop on the Mass Pike including: marked lanes violation, operating with a suspended license and obstructing emergency vehicles.

7:36 p.m.: William Rheaume, 25, of 23 Greenbriar Dr. was arrested after a traffic stop on Boston Turnpike. Rheaume was charged with operating on a suspended license.

Saturday, July 27

8:27 a.m.: The Animal Control Officer transported a dog to Tufts Medical Center after it reportedly bit a person on Oak Street.

5:14 p.m.: A caller from Vista Drive reported that someone had entered her garage.

10:06 p.m.: An officer took a report of vandalism to several mailboxes on South Street.

Sunday, July 28

1:40 a.m.: Edward Wallace, 32, of 20 Sturgis St., Worcester was arrested after a traffic stop on Boston Turnpike. Wallace was charged with speeding and operating with a revoked license for habitual traffic violations.

2:43 a.m.: An officer took note of vandalism to several houses on Grafton Street.

3:49 a.m.: A caller from CVS reported a larceny. The juvenile involved was held and released to a parent.
