Thefts Reported around Shrewsbury; Missing Person Returns Home

Tuesday, Aug 6

8:48 a.m.: A person from St. Mary’s reported a theft.

12:39 p.m.: A caller from Boylston Street reported a past break-in.

3:49 p.m.: One person was hospitalized after a two-car crash on South Street. Both vehicles were towed.

6:28 p.m.: A female was hospitalized after a one-car crash on Wiltshire Drive.

8:02 p.m.: Officers assisted in the search for a missing person from the Shrewsbury Commons Apartments. The person was entered into the missing persons system and returned home on the evening of Aug. 7.

11:52 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a two-car crash on Boston Turnpike. Both vehicles were towed but no one was hospitalized. One driver was issued criminal application.

Wednesday, Aug. 7

12:31 p.m.: A resident of Avalon Way went to the Shrewsbury Police Station to report a break-in.

2:15 p.m.: A caller from Cranbrook Road reported a theft.

5:42 p.m.: An officer assisted the Shrewsbury Fire Department with a person trapped in an elevator at the Shrewsbury Commons apartments.
