Suspicious Couple in Shopping Cart Spoken to be Shrewsbury Police

Monday, July 29

1:25 p.m.: An officer spoke with a suspicious couple in a shopping cart on Memorial Drive. The couple said they were walking to Maine.

3:21 p.m.: One car was towed after a two-car crash on Gold Street.

6:50 p.m.: A caller reported that two homeless people were arguing on Main Street. Officers intervened and moved them along.

8:04 p.m.: An officer took a report of several damaged mailboxes on Brook Street.

8:39 p.m.: An officer found a 16-year-old that was reported missing from Phillips Court.

Tuesday, July 30

12:18 a.m.: An officer served an arrest warrant to Ashley Shannon, 27, of 3112 Arbor Dr. for a probation violation.

7:35 a.m.: An officer spoke with a newspaper delivery driver regarding an ongoing issue.

2:41 p.m.: A caller reported a dog locked in a car at White City Shopping Center.
