Shrewsbury Arrests Include Drunken-Driving, Shoplifting

Tuesday, Oct. 1

1:01 a.m.: Stephen J. Scheffel, 41, of 4 Ireta Rd., Shrewsbury, was arrested on Hartford Turnpike and Edgemere Boulevard and charged with a marked lanes violation and operating under the influence of liquor.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

4:01 a.m.: Ronaldo A. DeSousa, 37, of 14B Shrewsbury Green Dr., Shrewsbury, was arrested on Dewey Road and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked as a habitual traffic offender, and driving an unregistered vehicle.

8:02 p.m.: Joseph Johns, 32, of 845 Hartford Tpke, Rainbow Motel, Apt. 105, Shrewsbury, was arrested on Hartford Turnpike and charged with larceny under $250 and larceny from a building.

Friday, Oct. 4

2:44 a.m.: Daniel Padraic Mahoney, 21, of 35 Morrill Ave., Shrewsbury, was arrested on Crescent Street and Maple Avenue and charged on three warrants.

3:03 a.m.: Raul Dossanto Rocha, 21, of 16 Shrewsbury Green Dr., Apt. C, Shrewsbury, was arrested at Crescent Street and Maple Avenue and charged on three warrants.

6:30 p.m.: Rowan W. Cook II, 29, of 31 Overlook St., Whitinsville, was arrested on Lafayette Street and charged on a warrant.

10:17 p.m.: Andressa Lima, 18, of 48 Shrewsbury Grn., Apt. B, Shrewsbury, was arrested at North Quinsigamond and Phillips Avenue and charged with false/misuse of a liquor ID card/license, person under 21 in possession of liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle lights violation.

Sunday, Oct. 6

3:04 a.m.: Nicholas J. Casaburri, 31, of 495 Laurel Hill Rd., Norwich, Conn., was arrested on Boston Turnpike and charged with possessing a burglarious instrument and receiving stolen property over $250. He was also charged on a warrant for shoplifting.

1:40 p.m.: Kenny Martinez, 30, of 37B Terrace Dr., Apt. 12, Leominster, was arrested on Boston Turnpike and charged with shoplifting by asportation and resisting arrest. He was also charged on two warrants.
