Police Respond to Calls for Vandalism, Larceny, Overnight Egging

The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Incidents, Thursday, Aug. 15 

12:29 a.m.: Police post a BOLO for a 1990s era Honda Accord, dark, after an attempted B&E of a MV. The car had something silver dangling from the back bumper and blackened out windows. Suspect heavy set male wearing a gray shirt. 

1:13 a.m.: Suspicious vehicle reported on Bumblebee Circle 

1:23 a.m.: MVA with no injuries, Bumblebee Circle 

1:43 a.m.: Police respond to a report of three males slumped over in a car on Boston Turnpike. The three are placed in protective custody. 

1:53 a.m.: MVA on South Quinsigamond. A civil citation is issued. 

9:03 a.m.: Loose dog complaint on Colonial Drive 

9:48 a.m.: Resident reports that neighbor his harassing a fence worker on Harrington Ave. 

11:12 a.m.: Resident from Prospect Street reports to police that the residence and car was egged overnight. 

11:23 a.m.: Larceny from residence on Camelot Drive reported 

12:03 p.m.: Person called to report to police that while walking her dogs a black lab, unleashed, charged at her dogs on Holden Street 

1:25 p.m.: Resident speaks to officer about an item left in a mailbox, O'Donnell Ave. 

3:12 p.m.: Calls report erratic driver on Boston Turnpike 

3:52 p.m.: Harassing phone calls, Howe Ave. 

4:44 p.m.: Hit and run and property damage at residence on Lake Street 

4:47 p.m.: Driver calls to report that someone cut her off, and debris blew in the roadway, damaging her car, Hartford Turnpike 

4:53 p.m.: Vandalism reported on Prospect Street 

5:17 p.m.: BOLO issued for missing patient and needs to be returned to UMass University campus 

6:34 p.m.: Police respond to call of girl with blue shirt sitting on the guardrail on Harford Turnpike 

7:25 p.m. BOLO issued by West Boylston police for a B&E and larceny of copper piping

8:11 p.m.: People reported to have started a fire in the park, South Quinsigamond 

8:36 p.m.: Erratic operator on Main Street 

8:40 p.m. MVA with no injuries, Boston Turnpike 

8:49 p.m.: Pizza delivery person speeding in the area of Morrill Ave. 

9:44 p.m.: Call for smoke coming from an engine on Hartford Turnpike 

11:33 p.m.: Erratic driver reported on Hartford Turnpike
