Police Log: Youths Cause Disturbance on Gold Street

Wednesday, March 28:

8:14 a.m.: A caller reported a break-in on Oxford Drive. A report was taken.

8:53 a.m.: A caller requested to speak to an officer with concerns of a child. A report was taken.

9:03 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Main Street for a man with a dislocated thumb. He was taken to St. Vincent's.

10:28 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Arbor Drive for a woman with complications from a concussion. She was taken to St. Vincent's.

10:54 a.m.: Two suspicious women were reported on Wadsworth Road. People were Jehovah's Witnesses and asked to move along.

2:26 p.m.: A caller requested to speak to an officer due to parents not showing up to pick up a child on Parker Road. A report was taken.

4:59 p.m.: A suspicious man was reported on Edgemere Boulevard.

5:18 p.m.: A caller reported personal checks were stolen and cashed at a bank in town. A report was taken.

6:41 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Maple Avenue for a woman with general body weakness. She was taken to St. Vincent's.

8:06 p.m.: James W. Quinn, 41, of 161 Country Club Blvd., Apt. 417, Worcester, was arrested and charged with no inspection sticker and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

8:17 p.m.: A caller reported a car alarm sounding for the last half hour on Avalon Way. responded and all was quiet.

8:36 p.m.: Police responded to Boston Turnpike for men with a drug violation. Police spoke to the men and moved them along. A report was taken.

8:38 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Main Street.

Thursday, March 29:

1:24 a.m.: Egan Burdett, 21, of 235 Boston Tpke., Apt. 236, Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

1:35 a.m.: A caller reported a disturbance on Boston Turnpike.

7:03 a.m.: A caller reported threats on Park Street. A report was taken.

9:44 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Cabot Drive for a man in heart failure. He was taken to St. Vincent's.

10:06 a.m.: The responded to South Quinsigamond Avenue and Florence Street for a loose dog. The dog was gone.

10:15 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on North Quinsigamond Avenue.

10:39 a.m.: A person in the lobby reported a lost or stolen wallet on Camelot Drive. A report was taken.

11:18 a.m.: A person in the lobby reported harassing phone calls on Country Way.

12:39 p.m.: The animal control officer spoke with a resident on Maple Avenue about the leash law.

2:26 p.m.: A caller reported a break-in on Old Mill Road. A report was taken.

3:49 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported a past assault. A report was taken.

4:07 p.m.: A person found a wallet on Boston Turnpike. Police will retrieve it.

4:44 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Main Street for a man with general body weakness. He was taken to UMass.

4:48 p.m.: A caller reported an employee had an altercation in the parking lot on Boston Turnpike.

6:01 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported a larceny of a boat on North Quinsigamond Avenue. A report was taken.

6:37 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a man with an altered mental status. He was taken to UMass.

6:40 p.m.: A caller reported an identity theft on Park Grove Lane. A report was taken.

6:55 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Ashwood Circle for a man with a bladder infection. He was taken to UMass.

Friday, March 30:

1:29 a.m.: Four kids were reported running around on Gold Street causing a disturbance.

1:51 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Cherry Street.

2:18 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Hartford Turnpike.

2:32 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Boston Turnpike.

2:51 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a man with chest pains. He was taken to UMass.

3:07 a.m.: Four kids were reported on Gold Street again from earlier causing a disturbance.

3:50 a.m.: Police spotted youths that had been seen on Gold Street.
