Police Log: Winter Storm Crashes, Injured Owl

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Nov. 7

7:38 a.m.: A caller from Shady Lane Avenue reported a possible injured owl in his yard. The Animal Control Officer responded but the bird had flown in to a tree.

7:53 a.m.: A caller reported hearing a female scream on Elm Street. An officer from the Shrewsbury Police Department responded and found an argument between spouses. The male had left the area without any physical altercations.

1:52 p.m.: A resident of Millwood Drive reported a dispute with their neighbor regarding leaves.

2:33 p.m.: A caller from Eaglehead Terrace reported an attempted break-in.

3:53 p.m.: A caller reported a spinout on Boston Turnpike. No injuries were reported.

4:10 p.m.: A caller reported that her car had flipped in to its roof on Avalon Way. One person was transported to the hospital and the car was towed.

5:27 p.m.: A caller from Newton Street reported that his wife’s nephew was causing a disturbance. The male was placed in protective custody.
