Police Log: Stolen Snow Blower, Two Domestic Assaults
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Saturday, Jan. 5
1:46 a.m.: Officers stopped a vehicle on Maple Avenue and arrested Anthony Fleitman, 22, of 366 Cedar St., Ashland on warrant charges.
10:48 a.m.: A person from the Trinity Episcopal Church went in to the Shrewsbury Police Department to report a stolen snow blower.

11:35 a.m.: A caller reported youths on the ice on Jordan Pond. An officer responded but the youths had left.
1:20 p.m.: A caller from Kenda Road reported vandalism to their mailbox.

8:02 p.m.: Officers were on the lookout for a vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lane of Route 9 near the Worcester line.
8:59 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Flagg Road and arrested Clinton D. Christian, 47, of 426 S. Quinsigamond Ave. Clinton was charged with drunken-driving and violating a red light.
11:45 p.m.: A resident went in to the Shrewsbury Police Station to report a female that had been dropped off on Grafton Street who may have been involved in a domestic assault. Officers responded and arrested Adam D. Haddad, 35, of 400 Grafton St., Haddad was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and intimidation of a witness.
Sunday, Jan. 6
12:21 p.m.: A caller from Boston Turnpike reported a homeless man making threatening statements. The man left before police were able to arrive.
2:27 p.m.: A caller reported a drive-off at Eobil that occurred at 11 a.m.
4:02 p.m.: A manager from a business at 380 Maple Ave. reported a larceny. The caller was able to obtain a license plate number and police followed up the investigation.
7:59 p.m.: Officers served a warrant to, and arrested Gurdev Singh, 52, of 34 Shrewsbury Green Dr., Apt. C.
9:17 p.m.: Officers responded to a physical dispute between a woman and her husband on Birch Brush Road. Mehran Asdigha, 51, of 1 Birch Brush Rd. was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic assault and battery.
9:22 p.m.: A caller from Hapgood Way reported that her friend had just stolen her purse. Officers are seeking a summons to charge the friend with larceny.
