Police Log: Runaway Youth Steals Dirt Bike
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Feb. 12
10:45 a.m.: A resident of Washington Street went in to the Shrewsbury Police Department to speak with an officer regarding identity theft.
2:40 p.m.: The Animal Control Officer removed a dead animal from Colton Lane.

2:56 p.m.: A caller from Bridle Path reported damage that had been caused to their mailbox by a Highway Department vehicle.
3:13 p.m.: Two vehicles were towed after a crash on Oak Street. No injuries were reported.

3:46 p.m.: One operator was transported to the hospital after a two-car crash on Lake Street. One vehicle was also towed.
5:06 p.m.: Officers were advised to be on the lookout for a runaway youth that stole a dirt bike. They were unable to locate the youth in the Main Street area.
8:14 p.m.: A caller reported dirt bikes causing a disturbance in the Latura Street area. An officer responded and observed snowmobile tracks in the area.
Wednesday, Feb. 13
2:39 a.m.: A caller from Bridle Path reported a loud explosion in the area. An officer responded and came upon a tractor trailer that had blown a tire on Route 290.Runaw
