Police Log: Road Rage Incident Reported

The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, March 27:

7:45 a.m.: A caller reported a tarp in the road on South Street. The tarp was removed prior to responding.

8:33 a.m.: A caller reported a piece of machinery in the road on Boston Turnpike. Police responded and retrieved the item before the officer arrived.

10:22 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Rawson Hill Drive for a woman with the question of a stroke. She was taken to UMass.

10:47 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Boston Turnpike for a man with a fever, chills and unable to walk. He was taken to UMass.

12:21 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a man with chest pain and a question of a heart attack. He was taken to UMass.

12:28 p.m.: A caller reported a verbal dispute on South Quinsigamond Avenue. She asked for police to remove her boyfriend. Both people were given domestic rights.

12:59 p.m.: Timothy E. Sullivan, 50, of 100 Burncoat St., Worcester, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

2:33 p.m.: A caller reported a break-in on Oak Ridge Way. No report was taken, but the caller requested extra patrols in the neighborhood.

2:56 p.m.: issued a citation to a pet owner on Hancock Street.

3:06 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported threats by phone and the Internet. A report was taken.

3:29 p.m.: A medical call was reported on South Quinsigamond Avenue for a woman feeling weak. She was taken to UMass.

4:47 p.m.: A caller reported a wallet stolen from their car on Wolcott Road. A report was taken.

5:30 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported a road rage incident from earlier today. A license plate was given to police and an officer spoke to the driver.

10:59 p.m.: A caller reported hearing someone yelling from their car on Park Street. The only description of the car the caller had was a loud muffler. A log entry was made.
