Police Log: Hurricane Sandy, Lost Motor Vehicle
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Monday, Oct. 29
9:24 p.m.: An officer from the Shrewsbury Police Department responded to a 911 hang up from Crescent Street. An elderly female had lost her glasses.
10:06 a.m.: A caller from Gleason Road reported a stolen motor vehicle. Two hours later the caller reported that he had found his vehicle.

12:33 p.m.: A caller reported that a tree came down at the intersection of Route 9 and South Street breaking a telephone pole. An officer stood by while the Highway Department responded.
1:58 p.m.: An officer responded to a 911 hang up from Arbor Drive. The caller was involved in a verbal argument with her daughter.

2:48 p.m.: An officer cleared a tree off Plainfield Avenue with the Highway Department. Officers also responded to trees down on North Quinsigamond, Wadsworth Road, Floral Street, and Old Mill Road.
4:48 p.m.: An officer checked the signal light at the intersection of Hartford Turnpike and South Street. The officer notified the Massachusetts Highway Department that the light was coming apart.
5:26 p.m.: A caller from Hillcrest Avenue reported that a tree had been uprooted and was about to fall on her house.
8:00 p.m.: An officer reported flooding on Hartford Turnpike, South Street Maple Avenue and Boston Turnpike.
