Police Log: Car in Woods, Credit Card Theft

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Oct. 3

8:49 a.m.: An officer transported two prisoners to court.

10:53 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of illegal dumping on Tamarack Lane. The items had been removed by the time the officer arrived.

12:25 p.m.: An officer responded to a female who was possibly intoxicated or possibly having a medical emergency on Edgewater Avenue. The female was taken in to protective custody.

12:33 p.m.: A detail officer reported a single-car crash on Boston Turnpike. No injuries were reported.

1:08 p.m.: A resident went in to the Shrewsbury Police Department to report theft by credit card.

3:21 p.m.: A resident reported a road rage dispute at the intersection of Lake Street and Hartford Turnpike.

3:28 p.m.: A resident went in to the station to report that a dog on Spruce Street had bitten them.

6:06 p.m.: A caller reported a yellow motorcycle that was being operated erratically on Whippoorwill Drive. The motorcycle was gone when an officer arrived.

6:14 p.m.: A caller reported a bicyclist in the road on Main Street.

7:41 p.m.: An officer responded to a vehicle in the woods on Lake Street. The vehicle was towed at the owner’s request.

9:56 p.m.: An officer responded to a disturbance on Boston Turnpike. The caller reported that someone had been trying to turn his doorknob. No one was found in the area.
