Police: Four Arrested for Drug and Weapons Charges

Police reported the men were found with firearms without serial numbers and drugs including hydrocodone, ecstasy and marijuana.

The Shrewsbury Police submitted the following press release:

On Tuesday, March 13 at 11:25 p.m. the responded to a report of suspicious motor vehicle in the area of Fairlawn Circle. The vehicles occupants were shining flashlights into vehicles. The Shrewsbury Police responded to the area and stopped a car fitting the description given by witnesses. Shrewsbury Police Officer Adam Bullock approached the motor vehicle and detected a strong odor of fresh marijuana. Officer Bullock’s investigation discovered several bags of individually packaged marijuana, ecstasy pills, hydrocodone pills and a .22 caliber handgun with ammunition. The serial numbers on the firearm were filed off. All four occupants of the motor vehicle were arrested.

Ansah, Jamal Ansah, 23, of 1 Morgan St., Worcester, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class D substance (marijuana), possession of a Class D substance with the intent to distribute (marijuana) and carrying a loaded without a firearm license and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.

Wilberto Rodriguez, 25, of 811 School St., Southbridge was arrested and charged with possession of a Class D substance (marijuana), possession of a Class D substance with the intent to distribute (marijuana), possession of a Class E substance (hydrocodone), carrying a firearm without a license and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.

Shane Wilcox, 25, of 91 Penn Ave., Apt. 2, Worcester, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class D substance (marijuana), possession of a Class D substance with the intent to distribute (marijuana), possession of a Class B substance (ecstacy), carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.

Kayla Muniz, 20, of 49 Bailey Rd., Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class D substance (marijuana), possession of a Class D with the intent to distribute (marijuana), carrying a firearm without a license with a defaced serial number.

All four were arraigned at Westborough District Court on Wednesday.
