Officer Convinces Boy to go to School; OUI Arrest

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Incidents, Wednesday, Oct. 9 

6:20 a.m.: Police receive a call about an erratic operator traveling on the Hartford Turnpike 

7:44 a.m.: Police receive an alert that the Verizon building in Boylston was burglarized 

7:49 a.m.: Grandson refuses to go to school, Arbor Drive. Police convince him to go to school. 

10:16 a.m.: Male and female having domestic altercation, Main Street 

10:16 a.m.: Call about a child sitting on a person's lap in a MV on Boston Turnpike 

11:36 a.m.: Report of missing golden retriever, South Street 

12:28 p.m.: Caller reports truck is removing dirt from a property on Main Street 

1:19 p.m.: Woman calls to say she heard a loud noise and her house shook, Lake Street 

2:12 p.m.: Resident on Myriah Road reports that there has been construction equipment parked on the side of the road for a week, and it is a hazard. 

2:44 p.m.: Shrewsbury resident calls to report that her purse was stolen in Boston, and requests that an officer check her home to make sure everything is OK. 

2:56 p.m.: Deceased coyote removed from Grove Street 

3:18 p.m.: Person reports mail theft, Sias Ave. 

3:46 p.m.: Two car MVA, Boston Turnpike 

Incidents, Thursday, Oct. 10 

12:45 a.m.: Two males in custody transported to the station for booking. Sandro Reyes, 157 School St., Revere, arrested and charged with obstructing emergency vehicle, marked lanes violation, OUI (second offense). Victor Gamez, 37 Cheever St., Revere, arrested and charged with possession of open container.
