Motor Vehicle, Business Break-Ins in Latest Police Log

Friday, July 19

3:19 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a boat in the road on Lake Street. It was determined that the boat had fallen off a trailer.

8:30 p.m.: An officer spoke with a dog owner who had left their dog in the car while shopping at White City Shopping Center.

Sunday, July 21

2:05 a.m.: Officer stopped a vehicle on South Quinsigamond Avenue. Jonathan Wakelin, 22, of 18 Barbara Jean St., Grafton, was arrested an charges of drunken-driving possession of an open container, marked lane violation and possession of marijuana. A passenger was taken into protective custody.

9:55 a.m.: A caller reported a paddleboat missing from Old Faith Road.

5:49 p.m.: An officer served an arrest warrant to Ryan Bertanzetti, 29, of 112 June St., Apt.2 , Worcester on a fugitive from justice charge.

Monday, July 22

3:12 a.m.: An officer responded to a commercial break-in at Bed Bath and Beyond on Boston Turnpike. Jailson Lopes Dosreis, 34, of 148 Market St., Brockton and Jose Barros, 28, of 22 Tyler St., Brockton were both arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering at night, larceny over $250 and conspiracy. In addition both men faced multiple warrant charges.

6:53 p.m.: A caller from Gleason Road reported that two stolen bikes were left in his yard and three of his own bikes were missing.

Tuesday, July 23

9:44 a.m.: A caller from Overlook Avenue reported that her vehicle was broken into overnight.
