More Car Vandalism at Shrewsbury Apartments, Suspicious Man Removed from Edgemere

Arrests, July 10

Michael Price, 30, of 9 Wilson St., Apt. 1, Worcester was charged with speeding, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and warrant charges of assault and battery, indecent assault and battery on a person under 14 and receiving stolen property.

Monday, July 8

8:42 a.m.: A caller reported vandalism to a rock on Lamplighter Drive. The rock was on private property and the owner was notified that it needed to be cleaned.

10:50 a.m.: A caller from School Street reported suspicious people wearing jackets. The people were Asain longhorn beetle removers.

4:57 p.m.: A resident of the Shrewsbury Green Apartments went in to the police station to report that his car had been tampered with.

6:11 p.m.: A caller reported a male walking around the park in Edgemere asking for water and cigarettes. An officer spoke to the man and removed him from the area.

7:41 p.m.: An officer took a report of vandalism to a residence on Boylston Circle.

Tuesday, July 9

11:13 a.m.: A caller from Firestone reported a hit and run in the parking lot. An officer was able to track down both vehicles and issued one driver a citation for leaving the scene of a crash.

2:54 p.m.: A caller from Willard Avenue reported that his father was drunk and needed to be removed from the property. The father was taken into protective custody.

9:33 p.m.: An officer took a report of an attempted break-in on Redland Street.

Wednesday, July 10

12:41 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Boston Turpnike and arrested Michael Price, 30, of 9 Wilson St., Apt. 1, Worcester. Price was charged with speeding, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and warrant charges of assault and battery, indecent assault and battery on a person under 14 and receiving stolen property.

4:34 a.m.: An officer took a report of a vehicle at the Shrewsbury Commons apartments with its tires removed. The officer was unable to contact the owner.
