Man Arrested for Driving on Drugs, Police Say
The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Arrests, July 11
Andrew C Meleen, 27, of 10 Old County Rd., Sterling, was charged with speeding, operating without an inspection sticker, OUI drugs, possession of a class B substance and failure to use caution while driving.
Edward P. Norris, 22, of 51 Ireta Rd., was charged with possession of a class A substance.

9:28 a.m.: A caller reported a three-car crash on Boston Turnpike. People involved refused medical treatment.
12:33 p.m.: A caller from South Quinsigamond Avenue reported identity theft.
6:53 p.m.: One driver was cited after a two-car crash on Boston Turnpike.
7:13 p.m.: A caller from the Imperial Buffet reported three males walking out without paying. An officer spoke to men in question and discovered that they did pay.
4:15 p.m.: A resident went in to the police station to report a larceny.
9:35 p.m.: An officer had a resident of Everett Avenue turn down their music after a neighbor complained.
Thursday, July 11
3:56 a.m.: After stopping a vehicle on Harrington Avenue, officers arrested two people. Andrew C Meleen, 27, of 10 Old County Rd., Sterling was charged with speeding, operating without an inspection sticker, OUI drugs, possession of a class B substance and failure to use caution while driving. Edward P. Norris, 22, of 51 Ireta Rd., was charged with possession of a class A substance.
