Juvenile Arrested for Drinking and Driving Moped; Kids Drive Beach Buggy Around

Incidents, Saturday, Aug. 17 

1:05 a.m.: Fire alarm going off on Avalon Way 

2:07 a.m.: Westborough police advise of an erratic driver headed toward Shrewsbury on Route 9, driving a dark Cadillac. Police are unable to locate driver. 

10:15 a.m.: Resident calls to report a suspicious package at the entrance to the cemetery on Boylston Street. 

11:50 a.m.: Golden retriever running on Maple Ave. toward the center 

12:44 p.m.: Resident complains of harassing phone calls, South Quinsigamond Ave. 

1:22 p.m.: Two car MVA on Main Street off the ramp at 290 east. No injuries. 

2:08 p.m.: Erratic operator reported on Hartford Turnpike 

2:30 p.m.: Reports of dirt bike racing on Fox Hill Road 

3:43 p.m.: Resident reports that his neighbor on Maple Ave. has a full mailbox with mail sticking out 

3:47 p.m.: Resident on Holt Street calls to report that she believes her ex-husband broke into her house and is inside at the time going through her documents. Police report there is no sign of break-in and the suspect is not on the scene. 

4:35 p.m.: 9-1-1 call for two-car MVA on South Quinsigamond 

4:58 p.m.: Call regarding the well-being of one of the business's patrons, Boston Turnpike 

5:09 p.m.: Former resident of Deerfield Road calls to say that her coonhound lab is missing in Holden, where she now lives, but tags are from Shrewsbury. 

5:59 p.m.: Suspicious vehicle is reported on Spring Terrace 

6:21 p.m.: Resident wishes to speak to an officer about an item he found in his yard on Maple Ave. 

6:45 p.m.: Caller complains of young kids riding a beach buggy around the area of Rawson Hill Drive 

6:51 p.m.: Juvenile female arrested for OUI on a moped, Maple Ave. 

8 p.m.: Disturbance on Coast Guard Island, Lake Quinsigamond 

8:22 p.m.: Violation of harassment prevention order, South Quinsigamond 

9:24 p.m.: Group of teenagers causing a disturbance on Elm Street 

10:14 p.m.: Resident reports explosions in the area of Ireta Road

10:22 p.m.: Report of fireworks in the area of Oakland Ave.
