Injured Turtle Hospitalized; Vehicle Drives Away After Crash

Tuesday, July 16

9:52 a.m.: A caller reported that a vehicle had crashed into a tree on Route 20 then left the area. An officer spoke with the caller but was unable to locate the vehicle.

10:11 a.m.: The Animal Control Officer transported an injured turtle from Worthington Avenue to Tufts.

12:18 p.m.: A caller from a business at the White City Shopping Center reported an attempted larceny. An officer responded and took a report.

4:25 p.m.: A caller from Hartford Turnpike reported an attempted break-in.

Wednesday, July 17

9:33 a.m.: A caller from Saturn Drive reported a dog bite. The dog did not break the caller’s skin.

1:06 p.m.: A caller from Shrewsbury Commons reported vandalism to a motor vehicle.

4:47 p.m.: An officer conducted traffic enforcement on Hylair Drive.
