Assault, Bee Hive Among Recent Police Calls

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Thursday, Sept. 19

11:49 a.m.: Animal Control sprayed a bee hive for a homeowner on Baldwin Circle.

4:52 p.m.: A party in the lobby reported finding an iPad on Trowbridge Lane. Police returned the iPad to its owner.

5:34 p.m.: Joseph Goodrich, 34, of 210 Park Ave., Apt. 255, Worcester, was arrested on Boston Turnpike and charged with assault and battery.

8:46 p.m.: A caller reported rowers on Lake Quinsigamond after dark. Police responded; there were no violations.
