Local Family Needs Help After Tragic Loss

It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to the community of Shrewsbury here. On Wednesday November 27th the life of Grafton resident Lindsey DeMoranville was cut tragically short in a motor vehicle accident on Route 20 at the intersections of 20 and 140 in Shrewsbury.

Lindsey was a beautiful, vibrant 22 year old daughter, sister, mother and friend. She was cherished by all she touched. Lindsey's heart was pure as gold. She was especially close to her younger sister, who has Down's Syndrome and requires 24/7 care. Lindsey's family credits her with helping her younger sister get through three Open Heart Surgeries. She will be missed immensely.

Lindsey's family is now facing the immeasurable pain of losing her and this tragedy is compounded by the fact that just four short months ago they lost Lindsey's young son Justin to SIDS.

As anyone can imagine, the heartbreak of losing both their daughter and their grandson is more then most can bear. This loss is compounded because now they have to pay for funeral expenses/final arrangements again in such a short time frame. A memorial fund has been set up by family friends to help Lindsey's family with the funeral expenses and donations can be made by sending checks to:

Lindsey DeMoranville Memorial Fund
c/o Grafton Suburban Credit Union
89 Worcester StreetGrafton, MA 01536

A givingforward.com account has also been set up so you can also go online to make an easy and secure donation via credit card or paypal:
