Library Trustees Thank Shrewsbury Voters

Thank you Shrewsbury voters! This journey began in 1998 when it became clear that the current library was not meeting the needs of our growing community. The Library Trustees thank the many dedicated people who contributed to our goal of renovating and expanding our library. Without your continued efforts and support, this day would not have come.

The voters of Shrewsbury showed their willingness to make informed financial decisions for the community by approving the Library Project by an overwhelming majority. We are a community that values strong infrastructure and high quality services and are willing to make investments in our town to maintain a certain quality of life.

In 2016, when our new library opens, we will look back on this moment with pride, knowing that those who voted to support this endeavor did so with an eye to the future and a desire to pass on a legacy to future generations of library patrons.
