FEEDBACK & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

At the end of each festival, we spend time evaluating the positive and negative aspects of the weekend.  We need your feedback and help.

1.      Weekend event:   Next year, would your group like to organize an event during the Spirit ofShrewsbury Fall Festival weekend (example, yard sale, concert, pancake breakfast on Sunday, dance, or other)?  This is a great fundraising opportunity for a group.

2.      After the parade event:  What ideas do you have for an event after the parade?  (The big tent is available for use.)  Would you or your group like to organize an event?  After the parade, people are looking for something to do. How about a children’s concert?  Puppet show?  Perhaps you might like to do some brainstorming with another group in town.  Would you like to get the PTOs in town together to sponsor an event?  Maybe all fitness groups could do a children’s game day (similar to a spree day/field day at the end of the school year).

3.      Volunteer:  Would you like to help the Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival committee by chairing an event or assisting a committee?  We need help in providing traffic control for the craft fair and Town Expo, selling banners, getting sponsors, helping with the Town Expo, assisting craft fair volunteers, as well as other areas. 

4.       Do you have other ideas to share with us?  How can we improve our Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival weekend?
