A couple of our readers commented on the article . Shrewsbury for Responsible Taxation had gathered at the town common to thank residents for voting down the library building project.

Jeff Michaelson called the gathering "classless" and Lori Hodgins Brazell commented: "This is still so upsetting!"

Lori Hodgins Brazell also commented on a link to the asking readers what they would put in the old drive-in on Route 20, suggesting "Community Gardens or a Community Orchard."

Sarah Cole Camerer would like to see another drive-in at the location, stating it would be "great for families with small children! i miss it!"
